There are several ways to move agents.

Agent to Move	Details	How to Move Agents
Security Agent	Move Security Agents between groups. After moving, agents inherit the settings of their new group.	Use the web console to move one or several agents. See Moving Security Agents Between Groups.
Security Agent	If you have at least two Security Servers, move Security Agents between servers. After moving, an agent will be grouped under the Desktops (default) or Servers (default) group in the other Security Server, depending on the operating system of the client. The agent inherits the settings of its new group.	Use the web console to move one or several agents. See Moving Agents Between Security Servers Using the Web Console. Run the Client Mover tool on a client to move the agent installed on that client. See Moving a Security Agent Between Security Servers Using Client Mover.
Messaging Security Agent (Advanced only)	If you have at least two Security Servers, move Messaging Security Agents between servers. After moving, an agent will be its own group in the other Security Server and will retain its settings.	Use the web console to move one agent at a time.
